5.03 Head Start

This page includes data on Head Start enrollment from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Head Start from the fall of 2015. The U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Easy Access to Juvenile Populations data provides the total number of children ages 3-4 by county, 2014. The demand/supply ratio is the number of children enrolled in or on the wait list for the program divided by the number of available slots. The Head Start Program is a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services program that provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children (ages 3 and 4) and their families.
