This page includes Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) data on Real Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Per Capita GDP, and real income growth for the Fox Cities metropolitan areas. Compound annual growth rates are calculated based on combined change in real GDP between 2008 and 2017. Additional data on the Economic Impact of Tourism come from Wisconsin Department of Tourism. The tourism spending data by county total visitor spending by: Direct Visitor Spending, Employment, State and Local Taxes, Total Business Sales, and Total Labor Income.

Notes

Real GDP means an inflation-adjusted measure that reflects the value of all goods and services produced in a given year, whereas Per Capita GDP divides the GDP by the number of people in that geography. Use the filters in the Economic Impact of Tourism spending chart to see all spending, or by type of spending. All terms used are taken directly from Wisconsin Department of Tourism and relate to just the proportion of that spending which applies directly to tourism.
