3.05 Food Access

This page includes 2010 data from the U.S. Economic Research Service on low access to a supermarket or large grocery store. Low food access is defined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as living more than one mile from a supermarket or large grocery store if in an urban area, or more than 10 miles from a supermarket or large grocery store if in a rural area.
